Vestas Wind has entrusted Famase FM&S with the Facility Management of its 30 corporate buildings located across the Iberian Peninsula.
Our client is VESTAS, a Danish company dedicated to the manufacturing, sale, installation, and maintenance of wind turbines. The company has plants located in Denmark, Germany, India, Italy, Romania, the United States, the United Kingdom, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Australia, and China, employing over 20,000 people.
FM&S has been awarded the contract to manage a wide range of FS services, such as maintenance, cleaning, reception, 24-hour emergency services, pest control, engineering, and Project Management—up to 22 activities in total—all encompassed within our IMoB (Integral Maintenance of Buildings) program. This program allows the client to contract, manage, and resolve all their external services through a single point of contact.
A clear objective is to guarantee the total management of the buildings or offices that the COMPANY has dispersed across different geographical areas, through the Integral Maintenance of Building plan.
By guaranteeing the lifespan of buildings with general maintenance services and leveraging the synergies implemented, we jointly manage those services referred to as “common elements.”
The Famase project has planned to establish a dedicated structure for the project, ensuring the client has an exclusive Facilities Services Coordinator (FSC) for the contract, leading to excellent resource and results management.
The management by an external consultant or auditor provides knowledge of the facilities and the ability to adopt tailored measures for the client and their real needs, never in a standard way.
The capability and resolution of a building data system using a CMMS program allow for the adoption of measures that guarantee 100% compliance with the maintenance plan and common element services.
